Two more new faces arrive at East Shore Park

We are delighted to welcome Euan Morris to Newburgh.

Euan joins us from the successful Dundonald under 20s team and is a midfielder who is very good on the ball. Euan is a good organiser and very creative.

Euan was an integral player throughout the season for Dundonald and was part of the League winning squad.

Manager Andy Healy is delighted with Euan joining the club and said: “Euan is a talented player who consistently plays to a high standard, has great technical ability. He is composed on the ball, very creative, a good organiser, and has a great attitude. I know he will relish the challenge of playing in the East of Scotland League and it is great to have him with us.

Following Euan to the club, we follow this up by also welcoming Owen McCallion to the club.

Owen has already appeared in a couple of games for us at the tail end of last season and made a big impression with the coaching team and is destined for an exciting future.

Joining us from Dundonald under 17s, Owen is also a midfielder and really impressed as a trialist last season. He is very comfortable on the ball, technically very good, very creative, and likes to get forward. He has great energy and a tremendous attitude.

Owen, had a very good season with Dundonald under 17s and worked with a fantastic management and coaching team. He has developed really well as a player under their guidance and played 3 trial games for Burgh last season and played very well.

Andy Healy said: “Owen is a very talented player who has the ability, attitude, and application to do very well. He has already shown everyone at the club his ability but also showed fantastic enthusiasm, drive and determination.

Healy continued: “Owen has the ambition to play to a high level and is one of the players, as a coach and manager, you look forward to working with and to help continue their development. With the coaching team and his team mates already at the club he will continue to develop as a player and will relish the challenge of the East Of Scotland League.”

Welcome to the Burgh!
